Pivot windows are perfect for minimalist-driven and modern architectures, especially in tight layouts, walkways, stairwells, lofts, and attics. They let in maximum ventilation without needing full clearance like casement windows, thanks to their half-turn rotation.
Features a movable sash connected to the frame by central pivot hinges, allowing it to rotate around a horizontal or vertical axis. This means the sash swings open—halfway or up to 90°—either inward or outward, depending on pivot placement.
Supports larger-than-average sashes thanks to central hinge weight-bearing. Modern systems support up to 150 kg per sash and sizes beyond 1900mm.
Unlike outward-opening windows, pivoting sashes rotate within the frame, taking up minimal space and offering unmatched airflow.
Pivoting allows full access to both sides of the glass from indoors—no ladders needed—while the friction brake holds the sash securely.
